The couple, who met on Twitter eight months ago, got married on Saturday, with the Muslim bride identified only as @Raahmatuallah sharing an insight into their relationship and photos from their wedding ceremony.

@Raahmatuallah’s story has thrown social media into a frenzy with many wishing them a happily ever and others praying for their own knights in shining armour.

Sharing photos of her wedding to her police officer husband, she wrote;

“Alhamdulillah❤️! Got married to this man after 8 months of knowing each other on Twitter”
