A primary school teacher accused of raping and molesting pupils at Isolog Nursery and Primary School in Ogun State has been detained at the Ajuwon police station.
WuzupNaija reports that the teacher identified as Adebayo Gbadebo handed himself over to the police on Monday and was detained after making a statement.
Our source at the Ajuwon police station said on Tuesday morning that the case is being transferred to the State CID at the Ogun state police headquarters at Eleweran in Abeokuta.
The man was accused of molesting girls aged 9 to 10 for three years at Isolog school located at Ajayi Farms Bus Stop, Alagbole-Akute Road, Ogun State.
Following the accusations that went viral on the internet over the weekend, the suspect turned himself in for investigation at the Ajuwon police station in the company of two lawyers.
Our source said after making his statement, Gbadebo was detained at the police station on Monday.
