The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a primary school teacher Adebayo Gbadebo accused of molesting pupils at Isolog Nursery and Primary School in Ogun State
Spokesperson of the command Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed this in a statement on Wednesday.
Oyeyemi’s statement confirmed WuzupNaija’s report on Monday that the suspect handed himself over to the police at the Ajuwon police station in the company of two lawyers.
WuzupNaija reports that after making a statement on Monday, Gbadebo was detained at the Ajuwon police station before the case was subsequently transferred to the State CID at the command headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta on Tuesday.

Oyeyemi said the suspect’s lawyer requested an independent medical examination on the child, but his request was turned down because the police station was not the court, neither would they allow the victim to be subjected to further emotional and psychological torture.

The accuser also alleged that the management of the school was attempting to cover up the case.
