Police arrest woman for shooting at Rihanna’s residence

A 30-year-old woman has been arrested after allegedly firing multiple shots at the Beverly Hills home of pop superstar Rihanna while the singer was inside, authorities confirmed on Sunday .

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 1:15 p.m. local time at the residence in the Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood . Police located the suspect about eight miles away and took her into custody without incident .

According to police radio dispatch audio, approximately 10 shots were fired from a white Tesla parked across the street from the property’s gate . Authorities recovered an assault rifle at the scene, and bullet casings were found . One round penetrated a wall of the mansion .

A law enforcement source told the Los Angeles Times that Rihanna was home at the time of the incident . Sources have confirmed that the singer is “okay” . No injuries were reported, and it remains unclear whether anyone else was inside the residence .

The suspect, who has not been publicly identified, remains in custody . The LAPD’s Robbery Homicide Division has taken over the investigation, which is standard procedure for high-profile cases .

Rihanna, 37, shares the colonial-style mansion with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, and their three children—sons RZA and Riot, and daughter Rocki, who was born last September .

The incident comes approximately one year after A$AP Rocky was acquitted by a Los Angeles jury on two felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon .
