The Adamawa State Police Command has apprehended three suspects for allegedly vandalising and stealing a large quantity of electrical cables in Bororo Village, Michika Local Government Area.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Command’s spokesperson, CSP Suleiman Nguroje, said the arrests were made by a surveillance team attached to the Michika Divisional Police Headquarters during a routine patrol.
The suspects were identified as Emmanuel John, 34; Habila Kwaji, 21; and Mohammed Garba, 28.
“During preliminary investigations, the three suspects confessed to the crime and are currently in police custody for further investigation and more recovery,” the statement read.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, reiterated his warning against the vandalisation of public infrastructure, urging residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the nearest police station.
