A 28-year-old man, Jane Otubo, has been arrested by the police for allegedly beating up his victim who refused to partake in his act of sodomy.
In a statement released by the spokesperson of the Lagos State police command, Ademuyiwa Adejobi, the suspect, a foodstuff trader who hails from Enugu State had invited one Francis Azeez who resides at Gwagwalada Area of Abuja to Lagos.
The report stated further that Otubo paid the fare of his victim from Abuja to his residence at 3 Eniola Street, Mafoluku in Oshodi with an additional pledge to establish a business for him.
Trouble broke out when Otubo made frantic attempts to have unlawful carnal knowledge of the invitee who had already spent a week with him.
The guest, Azeez, who resisted him, planned to escape to Abuja in the morning.
The move was truncated by a visibly Otubo who descended on his guest and brutalized him for refusing his advances.
The rowdy session attracted the neighbours’ attention who subsequently informed the Police.
According to Otubo’s landlord, popularly called Alfa, the suspect had been indulging in the act of homosexuality for a while.
Alfa explained that there were times he was compelled to settle several issues relating to his improper and immoral act.
Ademuyiwa says the state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered the matter be transferred to the Gender Unit of the command.
