The Federal Capital Territory Police Command arrested no fewer than 51 suspects who made false claims of organ disappearance.
The FCT Commissioner of Police, Haruna G Garba, revealed on Friday that a total of 62 cases were reported, with 51 of them turning out to be false alarms.
He said the individuals who raised the false alarms were arrested and now facing legal consequences.
“The first case of male organ disappearance was first recorded in Gwagwalada on September 21, 2023. It has spread all over FCT, where, as of today, we had a total of sixty-two cases reported.”
“It has spread all over FCT, whereby, as of today (Friday), we had a total of sixty-two cases reported,” he stated.
