Tragedy struck on Wednesday morning after a three-storeyed building at Ita Faji, Lagos Island, collapsed.
Many primary school pupils were feared dead while at least 50 children have been rescued so far, according to Channels.

Emergency rescue agencies such as the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), as well as security personnel including the police, army and National Security and Civil Defence Force (NSCDC) have continued with rescue operations at the scene.
The building which is situated at Massey Street at Adeniji Adele is said to be about 30 years.
