Beauty expert and celebrity stylist, Toyin Lawani, has publicly revealed that she is pregnant after several days of speculations amid debate heated by fans.

Toyin and her sweetheart, Segun Wealth, tied the knot in a black-themed ceremony on Saturday, June 12, while the nation was still celebrating Democracy Day, which was riddled with pockets of protests by demonstrators across the country.

The glitzy ceremony, which was held at the monarch event centre on Lagos Island had notable celebrities such as Iyabo Ojo, Toyin Abraham, Pretty Mike, Denrele Edun, friends and families in attendance.

The narrative, however, took a different turn when guests and other participants at the event observed the protruding stomach of the mother-of-two and hinted that she might be pregnant.

In a recent photo she shared via her Instagram page, Toyin Lawani finally admitted and revealed that she is indeed pregnant.

According to the newlywed, her husband, Segun Wealth, took both pictures on the 1st of March for her birthday, but he edited the bump to perfection to hide the bump because she wasn’t ready to share her happiness with the world at that time.

She said, “Shout out to my Amazing creative Genius husband @segun_wealth. Both pictures were taken 1st of March for my Birthday, But he edited the Bump to perfection to hide it, cause I wasn’t ready to share my happiness with the world, if not for the wedding I still wouldn’t have shared it.

“We let you in on what we want you to see, if you like insinuate all you want, carry gist all you want, if I didn’t post it, I didn’t confirm it. We kept this image for months till date, when I was ready to post, he Retouched it in another format, popped the tattoos, and made it dreamingly Heavenly, @segun_wealth chop kiss 💋 you are just too creative like me.

“A big thank you to @iyaeweherbs_ng I’m super happy to be on this journey Again, I thank the day I embraced the herbs, it took 9 years between TIANNAH and tenor, now another 7 years between this next journey, which variously I almost paid a surrogate to carry the baby for me.”

While encouraging others who may be in difficult situations to still trust that things will be better, she said one’s happiness is key.
