Chairman of United Bank for Africa, Tony Elumelu, has congratulated his wife, Awele, for successfully completing the Berlin Marathon, a race covering 42.195 kilometers.
Elumelu shared his pride in her achievement on his Facebook page on Sunday, posting pictures and a statement celebrating her accomplishment.
In his post, Elumelu highlighted that this was Awele’s fifth marathon, showcasing her dedication to long-distance running. He wrote, “Well done #MrsTOE on completing the 42.195km Berlin Marathon – 5th marathon in the bag.”
Awele Elumelu has a history of participating in marathons, having also completed the Manchester Marathon in the United Kingdom in 2023.
