President Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday, departed Abuja for Dakar Senegal ahead of his Participation at the 3rd Edition of the Dakar International Forum on Peace and Security in Africa.
This was made public few hours ago in the pictures shared on the Facebook page of the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
President Buhari who arrived Dakar few hours ago was received by the President of Senegal H.E. Macky Sall.
The President had among his entourage; Minister of Foreign Affairs Geoffrey Onyeama, Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki and Governor of Yobe Ibrahim Geidam.
The Forum is convened by President Sall with support from the African Union to discuss security-related challenges on the continent.
The gathering will be attended by African leaders and representatives of regional as well as international organisations.
President Buhari is scheduled to participate in the Panel of Heads of State on Tuesday, December 6.
