Former Nigerian First Lady Patience Jonathan, on Tuesday, stormed the Federal High Court in Lagos State with colorful rented crowd.
Recall that the account of the former first lady was recently frozen by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged act of corruption.
She was alleged to have laundered the sum of $15million through four companies and in retaliation, she sued the EFCC and demanded that the commission should pay her the sum of $200million for infringing on her rights when it froze the $15million in her account.
The former first lady made the claims through her lawyer Granville Abibo at a Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday (October 26) where she also prayed the court to issue an order discharging the freezing order and restraining the EFCC and its agent from further placing a freezing order on the said accounts.
