Former Governor of Edo State, and ex-National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole and his wife, Iara were seen attending a social function in London on Saturday.
The PUNCH identified the event as the Service of Songs for late Edo billionaire, Capt. Hosa Okunbo, in London.
WuzupNigeria reported that the late Edo industrialist, politician and Chief Executive Officer of Ocean Maritime Security died on August 7 at a hospital in London after a protracted battle with pancreatic cancer.
It was the first time Oshiomhole and his Cape Verdean beauty would be seen together in public after he lost prominence in Edo politics when the pendulum of leadership swung in the favour of Godwin Obaseki at the last governorship election.
Cape Verde otherwise known as Cabo Verde is a country comprising small islands that lie 385 miles off the west coast of Africa. It is inhabited by less than 550,000 people with a mixed blend of people with African and European heritage.
The viral photographs of the couple have set tongues wagging again on social media as many wondered if the politician and the former air hostess are still together.
A source disclosed on Sunday that “They were attending late Capt Hosa’s Service of Songs in London. That was yesterday (Saturday).”
Recall that the Cape Verdean got her Nigerian citizenship in May 2017 following her marriage to Oshiomhole in May 2015.
For years, she had given social networks a wide berth as her social media handles were last updated in 2017.
