About 28 of the remaining 118 abducted Bethel Baptist High School students were reunited with their parents under a cloud of joy and sorrow as many parents after many parents discovered that their children were still in captivity.
WuzupNigeria reported that the students were kidnapped in the early hours of July 5, 2021 around 2am in the school premises along the Kaduna-Kachia Highway, Damishi, Chikun Local Government Area of the state.
Although three others reportedly escaped earlier, the 28 others were released after twenty days in the den of their abductors who have demanded a ransom of N60m for their release.
