Latest reports inform that former Attorney General and Justice Commissioner in Ondo State, Eyitayo Jegede has emerged as the flag-bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in the state.
After a hitch-free gubernatorial primary election conducted in the state by the partyon Monday, Governor Olusegun Mimiko congratulated Jegede via his Twitter handle, @DR Olusegun Mimiko.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State is currently conducting its primary election to elect the flag-bearer of the party, ahead of November 26 governorship election in the state.
The primary is holding at the Dome in Akure, capital of Ondo State.
Among those at the venue of the exercise are Governors Olusegun Mimiko and Henry Seriake Dickson of Ondo and Bayelsa states respectively.
840 delegates are expected to elect the flag-bearer of the party at the congress.
The exercise is being monitored by Gov. Dickson and other leaders of the party.
A former Attorney General and commissioner for Justice in the state, Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) and former PDP Deputy governorship candidate in 2012, Saka Lawal will slug it out in the primary.
