It was a show of shame in Ebule-Egba area of Lagos on Wednesday afternoon when a grown up man was almost beaten to death for allegedly snatching a little girl child.

The ugly incident happened around Beckleys Estate in Abule Egba and those that witnessed the scene informed that the man snatched the girl while she was walking on the street with her mum.

It was gathered that he he immediately tried to escape on his bike, but luck ran out on him when the mother of the child raised an alarm and other passers-by chased him on their own bikes.

When the man realized that many people were after him, he threw the child from the bike. But they continued chasing until he was eventually captured.

The kidnapper was mercilessly beaten and stripped by those who caught him.

Luckily for him, the policemen from Oko-Oba division came to his rescue and took him away.

The little girl he threw from the moving bike was injured and has been taken to the hospital. Talk of desperation!
