The Labour union leaders shut down the Federal Inland Revenue Service in Lagos on Monday following the ongoing strike action by the Nigerian Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress over the Federal Government’s refusal to raise the proposed minimum wage from N60,000.

In a viral online picture, the union members were captured with canes chasing FIRS staff out of the Agidingbi, Ikeja, office premises in compliance with the strike action.
