Loyalists of former Governor of Delta State, James Ibori, on Wednesday, took to the streets to celebrate the release of their godfather.
This was made known in the pictures shared on the Facebook page of one Samuel Meyiwa Khalil.
Reports say Ayiri Emami, a billionaire businessman who is the founder of the 911 Beach & Resort in Ugborodo in Warri South West Local Government Area, and his boys drank maximally upon hearing the release of the ex-governor.
The town of Warri reportedly went agog as Ayiri and other faithfuls of Ibori celebrated the ex-governor’s freedom.
Ayeri who described Ibori’s release as a thing of joy, said he is so elated that he was alive to witness the uncompromising release of their leader.
Recall that Ayiri and some of his followers protested in Warri, when Ibori was arrested in Dubai.
