The immediate past Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole was on Sunday hosted by the people of Edo North district.
The people of Edo North district organised a grand reception in honour of Oshiomhole’s eight years’ meritorious service as the state governor.
The occasion which left (Iyamho) the hometown of Oshiomhole agog also witnessed the presence of his successor, Governor Godwin Obaseki who was accompanied by his lovely wife to the ceremony.
The spectacular reception to mark the homecoming of Oshiomhole was also graced by the state’s Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr Taiwo Akerele, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr John Mayaki, and Madam Uyi Lawani Oduwa-Malaka.
It is undisputed that Governor Obaseki is very loyal to Oshiomhole as it would be recall that Obaseki had just returned from Ondo State where he attended APC rally with President Muhammadu Buhari, APC National Chairman, Chief John Oyegun and other party chieftains.
