Popular gospel film actor Moses Korede Are, known as Baba Gbenro, has been laid to rest in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
The actor, famous for his role in the Mount Zion series *Abattoir*, was buried in a ceremony attended by family, friends, and well-wishers dressed in white and blue.
Photos from the solemn event were shared on Friday by Christian video podcast *Zion Kulture* on X. The images showed mourners gathered around his final resting place, paying their last respects.
Baba Gbenro passed away on November 14, 2024. His death was first announced by gospel actor and producer Oluwaseun Adejumobi, who wrote on Instagram, “Heaven’s Gain Again. A General Has Gone to Rest.”
Baba Gbenro was the founder and International President of Calvary Movies Drama Ministry and the Chief Executive Officer of Calvary Movies Television, both based in Ogbomoso.
