PHOTOS: Floyd Mayweather visits Nigeria, meets Amaechi
Retired American boxer, Floyd Mayweather, paid a visit to Nigeria on Sunday ahead of his exhibition match against Don Moore billed for Dubai on May 14.
During his visit, the former WBC Super featherweight champion, also met with the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, at his Abuja residence on Monday.
Amaechi who is a presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress was all smiles during the photo session with the famous boxer and his team.
The boxer said, “There are so much talents in the sport world over there in the United States, and Africa is dominating in the U.S now. There are so much hidden talents, so much skills, so we want the world to see these skills.
“We don’t want it to be hidden, like I was able to display my skills and talents to the world, here I am today. I want to build an academy just for the children to grow.”
