A bloody clash between members of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) and Road Transport Employers Association (RTEAN) in Igando area of Lagos State, has left several people injured.
The clash broke out following the sudden hike in the daily tickets issued to the commercial bus drivers plying the route.
It took the swift intervention of officials of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) to quell the looming crisis that would have degenerated to a chaos.
Some of the union members from both sides sustained various degree of injuries during the avoidable brawl.
