The return of President Muhammadu Buhari after 104 days on a medical trip in the United Kingdom has spurred celebration in Bauchi State.

For the All Progressive Congress (APC) youths of Bauchi, it was joy unspeakable and a sign of answered prayers, that the President returned safely from his medical trip.

As an act of gratitude to God and to also celebrate, the youths killed two camels.

One of the organisers of the rallies, Annas Yakubu, popularly known as Annas Black, told Daily Sun that the youths had slaughtered two camels as a sacrifice to God for Buhari’s return.

“First, we gathered here today to show the president and the world how much Bauchi people love Buhari and will continue to support him.

“Secondly, we are praying that God will grant him total healing to continue to be a nemesis to looters and thieves of our national treasury who are destroying our country with their greed.

‘Thirdly, to let the world know that Buhari’s love is in our DNA. We are not rooting for him because someone is sponsoring us. We are supporting him as volunteers and anytime he is doing anything we will support 100 percent because of the love we have for him.”
