Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun on Monday visited Ebute Ibafo, one of the communities where Nigerian military is currently battling suspected militants.
The Governor was accompanied to the community by Commissioner, Ogun State Police Command, Ahmed Iliyasu; Brigade Commander, 35th Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General Mohammed Danwalis and Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Suraj Adekunbi.

WuzupNaija recalls that the men of the Nigerian police and Nigerian Army on July 25 engaged militants in a gun duel at Ebute-Ibafo in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The incident was said to have happened when the state Deputy Govenor, Mrs. Yetunde Onanuga, led some members of the state executive council and security chiefs to one of the operating points of the hoodlums at Ebute-Ibafo.
It was reported that the confrontation lasted for over 20 minutes.
