Peter Okoye, Peter Odemwingie fight dirty on social media
Former Nigerian international, Peter Odemwingie and popular musician, Peter Okoye have taken to social media to fight dirty.
It started when former Nigerian striker, Peter Odemwingie, took to his Instagram story to make a negative remark about popular Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye.
In his post, the former Nigerian footballer wrote, “@peterpsquare you are robbing people in broad daylight with that your nonsense business and now you want to take even Christmas from them? You no dey fear God at all?”
Reacting to Odemwingie’s post, Okoye also took to his Instagram story asking his 10 million followers to pray for the footballer as ‘all is definitely not well with him.’
In a direct message he sent to Osaze via Instagram which he shared online, Okoye said the footballer looked sick and needs help.
Okoye wrote, “Bro I tried to ignore, but I am so disappointed in you! If you are now close to God does not make you feel others are close to the devil! I own a registered and licensed lottery platform just like every other individual does both here and abroad. But coming to spill this rubbish just because you feel you are now closer to God! Bro my music never brought you close to this your God in particular! Bro you have been Brainwashed Period! You look sick and you need help? Learn to mind your business and focus on that your God and your life! DISAPPOINTED.”
However, when The Punch placed a call to Peter Okoye, for further comments, his personal assistant, Charles Abi, simply stated that his boss was unavailable to comment on the matter.
Abi simply said, “My boss is not available, sorry. I have not seen my boss today. You cannot call back because he is not going to be here. He travelled; he is not in town and I am off till next year.”
