Nigerian singer, Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales has shared his painful experience of betrayal in the music industry, hinting at plans to expose those who turned their backs on him despite his support in building their careers.

In a recent post on X, the ‘Mukulu’ crooner expressed gratitude to God for standing by him through the isolation and setbacks he faced.

“One day I’ll sit down and tell you a story of how Alota people turned their backs on me including people I helped built up in this industry but guess what God never failed me even when isolated … don’t you ever stop praying and trusting God with every everything you got… best advice my mom gave me!!!,” he wrote.

He also acknowledged his mother’s influence, urging fans to remain steadfast in prayer and trust in God’s guidance.

Skales’ revelation follows a similar statement by fellow artist Reekado Banks, who recently accused an unnamed figure in the industry of sabotaging up-and-coming talents.

The singer, gained prominence after winning the North Central region of the Zain Tru Search contest in 2008.

He later signed with Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E) in 2009, alongside Wizkid and Niyola, before launching his solo career.
