#Penaldo: Fans drag Man United’s Ronaldo on 37th birthday

Published

A large number of football fans across the globe seriously dragged Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, on Saturday for missing a penalty against Middlesbrough.

Despite being his 37th birthday, he was mocked endlessly by netizens as #Penaldo trends on social media.

Fans made a cruel joke of the former Ballon D’or winner’s 20th minute penalty miss in the fourth round of the FA Cup tie between Manchester United and Championship side Middlesbrough on Friday night.

Middlesbrough won the match 8-7 in a penalty shootout after the two teams drew 1-1 after 120 minutes of play.

Ronaldo scored for United in the tie breaker, but his critics were unforgiving of his earlier miss.
