Popular TikTok creator, Peller, has taken back his earlier statement about starting a GoFundMe campaign to raise ₦30 million for his partner, Jarvis, who was said to be battling a mouth tumour.

Jarvis, who is also well-known on TikTok, has been searching for medical solutions for her condition. Peller initially told fans that the surgery would cost ₦30 million, which raised concern and sympathy. However, he later dismissed the fundraising claim, saying it was just a “joke.”

In a video posted on Instagram, Peller reacted angrily to critics and close associates who accused him of using the situation for personal gain.

“Some of you have taken this too far,” he said. “It was never serious, and I didn’t expect people to blow it out of proportion.”

Jarvis also confirmed the situation, assuring fans that she was fine and explaining that Peller’s statement was not meant to be taken seriously.

The issue has sparked mixed reactions, with some people saying the joke was inappropriate because medical conditions are serious, while others defended Peller, saying his words were misunderstood.
