The Peoples Democratic Party has named Senator Ben Ndi Obi as the Secretary of its 2025 Elective National Convention Organizing Committee.
The appointment was ratified by the party’s National Working Committee on behalf of the National Executive Committee, and announced in a statement issued on Tuesday, October 15, 2025, by the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba.
According to Ologunagba, the decision forms part of the party’s preparations for its upcoming Elective National Convention, slated to take place from Saturday, November 15 to Sunday, November 16, 2025, in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The NWC expressed appreciation to the committee, chaired by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State, for its dedication and efforts towards ensuring a successful convention.
The statement further called on all party members, leaders, and stakeholders to remain united and committed to the smooth conduct of the convention and the overall advancement of the party.
