Pastor Jerry Eze gifts widows houses, youths N100m grant on 42nd birthday

Nigerian clergyman Pastor Jerry Eze has won the hearts of many with his generous acts of kindness.

To celebrate his 42nd birthday, Pastor Eze built 18 houses for widows across Nigeria and provided N100 million in business grants to young people.

The news has spread across social media, with many praising the pastor for his generosity and commitment to helping the less fortunate.

Sharing the news on Twitter, now known as X, Pastor Jerry expressed his gratitude to Jesus, saying, “THANK YOU, JESUS! 18 HOUSES BUILT FOR WIDOWS ACROSS NIGERIA!! GRANTS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE!!! WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOES NOT EXIST!!!”

The pastor’s actions have drawn widespread admiration, with celebrities and social media users alike commending him.

Many took to social media to share their thoughts, with some comparing his actions to those of others in similar positions.

One user, Kharmzy, noted, “And there’s someone somewhere selling stones to his members.”

Celebrities also joined in the praise. Obi Cubana wrote, “Way to go. Well done PJ nwanne,” while actress Adaora Ukoh commented, “138 million grant. He upped it eventually. Happy Papa! You’re blessed beyond measure.”

Actor Mike Ezurounye showed his support with clapping emojis, and actress Susan Peters added, “Well done. Way to go, Papa.”

In addition to the praise, some social media users took a swipe at controversial figure Daddy Freeze, with one user, Imjust Godfrey, humorously commenting, “Breaking news!! Daddy Freeze donates 20 ring lights for his cho cho cho clique.” Another user, Stage Nations, pointed out, “Daddy Freeze will not see this button.”

Another user, Chrisdgreat529, questioned, “Daddy Freeze, where are you? How many have you built?”

The pastor’s actions have been seen as an example of “practical Christianity,” with one user, Royal Design Furniture, saying, “Practical Christianity.

Iphieuche expressed heartfelt prayers, saying, “My father in the Lord. Upon your life and lineages the glory of God will never cease, Amen. Daddy Zoë celebrated the pastor’s influence, stating, “Pastor Jerry is Forty-Two and Forti-fied by Heaven for God’s Eternal Glory and Excellence. Thank you for staying true to your calling. Dbanj even shared a video of a surprise visit he paid to the clergyman in Abuja, noting how Pastor Jerry’s relentless faith and passion for God inspire them.

Mike Ezurounye declared Pastor Jerry as the only pastor he certified, stating that he is “a man God has called to do His work,” while Yul Edochie described the pastor as his “brother and man” and wished him many more beautiful years.

Pastor Jerry Eze has been gaining widespread attention recently. Earlier this month, he was named Nigeria’s highest-earning YouTube creator, earning over N7 billion through his live-streamed prayer meetings.

He also made headlines during his NSPPD event in the UK, where a young girl who had been unable to walk received a sudden healing during the prayer conference and started walking, leaving the crowd in shock.
