Photos have emerged from a multiple accident involving about five vehicles on the Kara Bridge, the Berger end of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway early Wednesday morning.
According to eyewitnesses, the tragic accident happened when a speeding trailer loaded with petrol rammed into three trucks and a Toyota saloon, exploded and caught fire which extended to other vehicles.
As at the time of writing this report, no fewer than three people were said to have lost their lives in the accident.
Meanwhile, due to the accident, a major gridlock was witnessed on both sides of the expressway, leaving scores of stranded commuters to start trekking.
