The Founder of Nigerian e-payment platform, Paga, Tayo Oviosu has come for the defence of one of his staff, Oseyi Etomi, popularly known as Ozzy Etomi over call by a Twitter user for her sack after her viral tweet sparked controversy.
Ozzy is the Communications Strategist of Paga.
WuzupNaija reports that Ozzy Etomi attracted mixed reactions for “rudely” calling out her father on Twitter on Friday.
She had tweeted that her father does not have the right to summon grown adults, ages 28 – 37, who have things to do with their precious times.
Her tweet evoked mixed reactions on social media on Friday which prompted her to switch her Twitter handle from public to private over the attacks from online trolls.
This is not the first time Ozzy’s tweet will be igniting controversy on the social media, most times the controversies are as a result of her opinion on feminism.
One of the trolls seems to have taken his freedom of expression too far by calling on Etomi’s employer to sack her over her controversial opinions on the social media.
The Twitter user identified as Babatunde Lasisi wrote:
“
@mypaga I will advise that you start recruiting process for a Comms Strategist position this@ozzyetomi may hinder your mission and objectives.”
Paga’s CEO in his response to the tweet wrote;
“I do not appreciate you bullying our colleague. You can go and stay in your corner of the world
