The older brother and long-time manager of the defunct P-Square group, Jude Okoye, has finally spoken out about the recent issues between his younger brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye.
The latest trouble became public when Paul, also known as Rudeboy, revealed in an interview that the group had broken up again.
He accused his twin brother, Peter, also known as Mr. P, of involving him and their elder brother, Jude, in legal troubles with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission over alleged fraud.
Peter claimed that Jude had been secretly taking money from their joint accounts through a company called Northside Music, leading to significant tension between the brothers.
Peter further wrote an open letter to Paul, accusing him of damaging his reputation and alleging that Paul and Jude worked together to cheat him out of money.
In response, Jude Okoye addressed the situation during an Instagram live session on Saturday.
He dismissed Peter’s fraud allegations, stating, “He twisted it to make it look fraudulent.”
Jude also expressed frustration over being dragged into the conflict, saying, “These people [Peter and Paul] have children that are teenagers. If they were in America, they would be grandfathers now. Why is it that Peter always involves me in their fight? It’s because he had that impression that people always called Jude, the elder one, [to say] ‘go and settle your brothers, go and put your family in order’.”
He added, “What do you mean by go and put your family in order? My family is in order. Let them put their family in order. If they are doing business together, let them put it in order. I have tried to the point I sacrificed myself.”
