Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has promised improved governance and greater development during his second term ahead of his inauguration on October 16, 2026.
According to The PUNCH, the governor made the promise during a special thanksgiving programme organised to mark the completion of his first term in office.
The event, titled “Eight Hours of Praise,” brought together political leaders, government officials and residents.
Oyebanji attributed what he described as his administration’s achievements to divine grace and the support of the people.
“With God’s grace and support of the people, my second term will be far more impactful than the first,” he said.
