A local security guard was found murdered at his duty post on Monday morning at Ikirun in Ifelodun Local Government Area, Osun State.
The guard, known as ‘Ibariba,’ was discovered dead at a shop owned by Baba Giwa.
Rafiu Sola, a local resident, reported to Vanguard stating that, “The body of Ibariba was found early in the morning, just as business activities were about to begin. We immediately alerted the security operatives.”
The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps quickly arrived at the scene and took away the remains.
The spokesperson for the NSCDC in Osun State, Kehinde Adeleke, confirming the incident said, “The body of the local security guard has been moved to the morgue. Our officers are investigating to find out how he died and to catch those responsible for this crime.
