CORE Fundamental Inventors (CFI), an international Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), says it is ready to partner the Federal Government of Nigeria to empower young Nigerians on business innovations.
The group Chairman of CFI, Igbereyivwe Israel, disclosed this in a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday.
According to Israel, the partnership is geared toward ensuring that the federal government’s goal of bringing 100 million Nigerians out of poverty becomes a reality.
He said: “We are set to partner government through our maiden core inventors programme on March 6.
“This is to empower young people to become more self-reliant and train them on strategies of internet market place, crypto currency, internet-based residual income, entrepreneurship, inventions and technology branding.
“Our platform as at Dec. 4, 2020 had been opened for people to apply via www.cfinventors.org, www.cfinventors.com or [email protected] and conceive business ideas to be presented in digital form.”
Israel further explained that 100 successful applicants with business plans would be carefully selected and trained at the Art and Cultural Centre, Abuja, the venue for the grand finale on March 6.
He said that the programme, being centered on potential of emerging economy for business startups with zero finance, would feature training on digital economy.
He said other programmes included business plan contest and award of prizes to 1st, 2nd and 3rd position winners, based on merit.
Israel also said that the 1st prize winner would be awarded $10,000, while the 2nd winner would get $7000 and the 3rd winner, $5000.
CFI seeks to promote the realisation of Nigeria business dream through human resource development.
