Ooni of Ife celebrates twins’ first birthday

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has celebrated the first birthday of his twins, Ooreade and Oreade.

In a heartfelt message on his Instagram page on Sunday, the Yoruba monarch expressed gratitude to God for the blessing of his children.

“One year ago, the Almighty King of Kings blessed the Royal House of Oduduwa with double joy—Ooreade and Oreade.

“You are our priceless treasures, and we pray you grow to fulfill your dreams and aspirations,” he wrote.

The monarch also prayed for others who desire such a blessing, saying, “May Olodumare’s endless grace touch everyone seeking such a blessing. With love, Dad.”

The Ooni of Ife and his queen, Olori Tobi Ogunwusi, welcomed their twins on March 16, 2024. The royal couple was blessed with a prince and a princess, bringing joy to the Ile-Ife royal family.

The celebration of their first birthday was filled with love, prayers, and well wishes from friends, family, and well-wishers.
