Only ADC can rescue Nigerians from APC – Kenneth Okonkwo

Nollywood actor and politician, Kenneth Okonkwo, has described the ruling All Progressives Congress as incompetent and corrupt, insisting that the African Democratic Congress is better positioned to address Nigeria’s challenges.

Okonkwo, a chieftain of the ADC, made the remarks during an interview on AIT’s Kakaaki, where he said the party’s mission is firmly centred on the welfare of Nigerians and the overall development of the country.

According to him, the ADC represents the only realistic alternative capable of rescuing Nigeria from what he described as the failures of the current administration.

“The whole reason for ADC is for the welfare of our people and the welfare of our nation.
“As Nigeria stands today, this is the only option to rescue the country from the hands of incompetent and corrupt APC.”

Okonkwo further stated that individuals joining the ADC have thoroughly examined the party’s constitution and are persuaded by the quality of its leadership and commitment to its founding ideals.

He also commented on the influence of the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, noting that while the former Anambra State governor frequently speaks about the idea of a “New Nigeria,” he believes the ADC provides a more credible platform for delivering genuine and lasting national reforms.
