One person dead, others injured in small plane crash

One person has been declared dead and four others injured after a small plane crashed in British Columbia’s central interior in Canada, Metronews.ca reports.

According to the Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre, its crew was called Monday morning to locate the de Havilland Beaver aircraft.

It was gathered that the crashed plane found 80 km northeast of Anahim Lake.

The centre says one passenger was dead when rescuers arrived at the scene.

Four others were transported by air ambulance for treatment of their injuries.

The Transportation Safety Board says it has sent investigators to Anahim Lake.
