One out of a three-man-gang who allegedly came to rob the church premises belonging to the Lord’s Chosen Church was nabbed by the church members recently.

Trouble started two days before the just concluded The Lord’s Chosen Ondo State State Crusade. Some unknown persons broke into the State Pastor’s office to cart away the money kept there for the running of the program but they were unsuccessful.

However, according to a broadcast by the church, the robbers returned boldly again on Monday night after the crusade because they believed pledges were made during the program.

“This time around, God was not ready to show them mercy again since they didn’t learn their lessons in their previous attempt,” the broadcast revealed.

As the workers and leaders gathered for their usual vigil, while prayers were going on, some armed men came to attack the church with their weapons and as they surrounded the church compound, three of them quickly entered the church.

When they were pursued by the church members, one of the robbers fell into a gutter and was apprehended by some of The Chosen Mopol Brethren.

He was later handed over to the police at B Division, Oke Aro.
