Senator Nicholas Tofowomo, representing Ondo South Sentorial District in the National Assembly, has condoled with the PDP in Ile Oluji/Oke-Igbo community over the death of Ondo South Senatorial Women Leader, Mrs Yetunde Dada.
Recall that Dada died in a motor accident on Kogi-Abuja expressway on Tuesday.
Tofowomo, in a statement issued by his Media Aide, Mr Olumide Akinrinlola, on Wednesday, described Dada’s death as untimely and painful.
The lawmaker, who hailed the exceptional qualities of the late politician, said that she would be greatly remembered for her active roles in the rebuilding of PDP in Ondo State.
“It is hard to believe that Dada is no more. Her death is so painful and untimely. She was indeed an exceptional politician, as she remained dedicated to the restoration of PDP’s glory in the state,” he said.
Tofowomo offered his deepest condolences to the husband and children of the deceased and prayed for the repose of her soul.
“I pray God to grant Ile-Oluji community, her family, friends and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” the senator said.
NAN reports that the late 57-year-old politician was a one-time Chairperson, Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government Council Area of the state.
