The All Progressive Congress has taken a decisive step in addressing the ongoing feud between Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and his deputy, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

To restore harmony within the party, the APC has established a 9-man Committee tasked with resolving the conflict.

The committee, led by former Katsina State Governor Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, has been responsible for mediating and facilitating the peaceful reconciliation of all parties involved in the dispute.

Edwin Olofo, the Chief Press Secretary to the APC National Chairman, shared the party’s decision in a statement released Thursday night in Abuja.

He highlighted the party’s concern about the troubling political situation in Ondo State, expressing the need for swift intervention to prevent further discord among party members.

Olofo stated, “Therefore, in order to avert the misunderstanding, and after critical observation of the situation, the National Secretariat has decided to wade in, with a view to foster better understanding that may likely lead to amicable resolution.”

The APC is committed to engaging with all stakeholders in Ondo State in a dialogue characterized by mutual respect, aiming to find a lasting solution to the ongoing dispute.

Olofo urged all parties involved to remain calm and provide the necessary cooperation and support to the Masari-led Committee.
