One of the aides of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, former president of Nigeria, Reno Omokri has some advice for Nigerians, especially the authorities at the center.

The Special Assistant on social media said on Friday that the present economic situation in the country is not being helped by the forex subsidy given to pilgrims.

He believes the subsidy should be directed at causes that will improve the economy.

“How won’t an economy crash, when pilgrims and influential people get dollar at ₦197 to $1, but manufacturers, airlines and business can’t?” he tweeted.

He added that the country should also focus on improving its economy instead of playing the blame game.

“Nigeria loses largest economy to SA, loses top oil producer position to Angola, loses W Africa aviation Hub to Ghana. FG response-Blame GEJ!”

Omokri also posted a picture of former minister of finance and co-ordinating minister of the economy, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala with a quote that solutions should be found to problems that has been identified. He captioned the pictuer with a question, “who do we think needs the advice?”

Who do you think the social media expert is targeting?
