Omah Lay, Tems ordered to be released, charges against them dropped
Singers Omah Lay and Tems have been released by the authorities in Uganda after they were arrested for performing at a concert in the country.
This is according to Ugandan singer Bebe Cool who shared a document which revealed that the charges against them have been withdrawn.
The document also ordered that the singers should be released immediately unless held on other charges.
Bebe Cool tweeted: “Great news!!! They are free @Omah_Lay and @temsbaby.”
Both singers were arrested and arraigned in court for engaging in acts that could spread coronavirus in Uganda.
