Florence Omagbemi, coach of Nigeria’s women national team, Super Falcons has been nominated by the world football governing body, Fifa in the Best Coach category.

Omagbemi is among the nine nominees for the award of best women’s coach that was released on Thursday.
The former Super Falcons player is on her way to making another history as she recently became the first woman to win the Africa Women Cup of Nations both as a player and a coach.

Others nominated in the category are Olivier Echouafni, Emma Hayes, Ralf Kellermann, Xavi Llorens, Nils Nielsen, Gérard Prêcheur, Dominik Thalhammer, Sarina Wiegman and Hwang Yong-Bong.
