A video of The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi Telu 1, stopping rain from falling during the celebration of 2019 Egungun festival in Iwo has gone viral online.

In the video, the monarch could be seen appealing to a greater authority, whom he addressed as the Most High, to stop the rain from disrupting the festival.

The Oluwo of Iwo subsequently sent out the rain to four communities in the South-West region of Nigeria including Oyo, Ibadan and other two.

The Oluwo of Iwoland wrote on Instagram;

With the power of the Most High God…. the heavy rain that wants to disturb the day was stopped !! Ashe Oba Kan soso tounje kabio kosi and all the glory and praise to God Almighty the owner and maker of heaven and earth and all therein.
