The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has revealed that he bestowed a chieftaincy title on vice president Yemi Osinbajo during his recent visit to Osun State.
Oba Akanbi shared photos of Osinbajo in his palace and said he bestowed on him “The Olori Ogun (Olorogun) of Yorubaland”.

Oba Akanbi wrote,
“It was a glorious day in the history of Iwoland as I received the Vice President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria Olorogun Yemi Osinbajo in my Palace and I bestowed on him The Olori Ogun (Olorogun) of Yorubaland.”
On Monday, the vice president was in Osun state for the launch of a Federal Government Enterprise scheme for Petty traders tagged the Trader Moni Scheme.

Oba Akanbi also joined Osinbajo, Osun State governor, Rauf Aregbesola, and deputy governor Titilayo Laoye Tomori for the launch.
