Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will deliver nothing for Man Utd, says Simon Jordan

Published

Former Crystal Palace owner, Simon Jordan, has strongly stated that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will not win any trophy for Manchester United.

Jordan’s comment comes after United moved to third in the league with a 6-2 mauling of free-flowing Leeds United, with one game at hand.

Speaking on TalkSport, Jordan who had once suggested that Solskjaer be replaced with Mauricio Pochettino, Antonio Conte or Diego Simeone said:

“Oh yeah, because beating the team that’s bottom of the Premier League in Sheffield United that gets beat by everybody is so compelling, and taking Leeds to task, a team that got beat 4-1 by Palace a few weeks ago…

“Oh you’re right, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is absolutely the cure!

“Listen, Man United have got good players, who said they haven’t? Man United have the capability to be a good team, who said they didn’t?

“But, in my view, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will deliver nothing. He might get them into the top four, and if that’s Man United’s aim, fantastic!

“But I thought Man United wanted to win things…

“Will Man United win the title? No chance!

“No chance will they win the Premier League title, no chance will they win the Champions League – well, they can’t because they got knocked out – no chance will they win the Europa League, and they won’t win the FA Cup.

“I guarantee you, as we sit here today, Man United will win nothing this season.

“And if that is the case, and they only get back into the Champions League, is that good enough for Manchester United?

“I thought Manchester United were the biggest club in the world, I thought Manchester United had aspirations to win things.

“If they do and I’m wrong, well then Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the panacea!”

“Is he the answer to challenging Liverpool, Man City and Tottenham? Today he is, because the league is really shaping up in a strange way.

“But I guarantee you Man United will not win anything this season.”

Ole’s men are on a run of seven games since their last league defeat and are tipped to rival defending champions, Liverpool, for

United still have a game in hand of the rest of the Premier League’s top six, which if they win will see them climb to second place and within just two points of the leaders and defending champions.
