Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has nominated four more persons as commissioners, bringing the total number of commissioner-designates under his administration to 10 since he took office in November 2024.

The latest list was announced in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Musa Ikhilor, and sent to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.

The new nominees are Hon. Nosa T. Adams, Hon. Yakubu Oshiorenua Musa, Dr. Felix Ehiguese Akhabue, and Prof. Omorodion Ignatius Ikponmwosa.

If confirmed, the new appointees will bring the governor closer to meeting the constitutional requirement of having at least one commissioner from each of the 18 local government areas in the state.

Okpebholo still has eight more appointments to make before completing his cabinet. Since taking office, he has promised to build a team that will help him deliver on his campaign promises, including tackling insecurity and improving basic services across the state.
