OH MY HOME! Dino Melaye drops new music video, mocks APC, says PDP is his new home
The Senator representing Kogi West senatorial district, Dino Melaye, has announced that he missed the Peoples Democratic Party because he has suffered in the hands of the All Progressives Congress.
Melaye who is popularly known for releasing music video’s whenever he is facing political or career challenges released his new single on Saturday.
The music video which was shared on Melaye’s Instagram page is a remix of the popular Nigerian Folk Song “Oh! My Home.”
In the video, the controversial senator referred to the PDP as his home, saying that the APC dealt with him.
The video which has since gone viral has attracted criticisms as well as praises.
He sang:
“PDP – Oh my home, oh my home
Oh my home, oh my home
When shall I see my home – PDP
When shall I see my PDP
I will never forget my home,”
He went on to sing with cheerful smiling face:
“Oh my home, oh my home
Oh my home, oh my home
When shall I see my home – APC suffer me o!
When shall I see my PDP
I will never forget my home.”
Melaye was a member of PDP, elected into the House of Representatives on the same platform in 2007 but he fell out with his colleagues in the party. He was also suspended as a representative but was reinstated after a long court battle.
However, before the 2015 election, he joined the APC and was elected a senator under the platform of the party.
